Codmah, a civil construction company based in New South Wales, has used the same high- end trencher on several major projects. The versatility to handle many different types of terrains and materials as well as the safety aspect of constructing smoother, safer walls over long distances has made the Vermeer T755 the trencher of choice on a number of projects.

The trencher has completed a successful pipeline installation located on a narrow road bend, an area with extremely hard rock surfaces, and a gravity sewer installation that required a fast turnaround with deep double cut trenches.

Codmah works on a variety of pipeline and civil projects, including sewer, gas, water, electricity and telecommunications.

With extensive drilling and civil capabilities across the different disciplines, Codmah’s Logistics Manager Trevor Rowntree said the use of the trencher on many projects had proven to be beneficial due to its time-saving abilities and low impact on the environment.

It had allowed projects to meet their milestones regardless of the terrain.

Three New South Wales projects in particular have benefited from the use of a Vermeer T755 Trencher that was purchased by Codmah in 2006: the Buxton/Bargo Transfer Main in the Macarthur Region, a Centennial Coal recycled water pipe installation in the Central Tablelands, and the Airport Industrial Lands Collector Sewer installation in the Northern Tablelands.
